Vulnerability Assessment Phase
Timeframe - December 2009 – February 2010
In BalticClimate, the vulnerability assessment framework consists of eight exercises. Each exercise emphasizes a specific element concerning vulnerability to climate change and climate adaptation, including exposure to climatic and on-climatic risks, sensitivity, and adaptive capacities. Together these exercises facilitate a robust assessment of the challenges and chances of climate change.
I - How might future society be?
II - Climatic Stressor Mapping
III - Socioeconomic Stressor Mapping
IV - Analyzing socioeconomic Sensitivity
V - Identifying and Ranking Adaptive Capacity
VI - Identification of Key Actors and Mapping
VII - Limits of Adaptation Measures
VIII - Integrated Vulnerability Analysis
